Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all inspection services provided by Cars Point in the UAE.

By booking an appointment and paying the fees, the customer agrees to all terms and conditions stated below.

General Terms

  • This introduction is considered an integral part of this agreement.
  • The inspection applicant and/or vehicle owner bear full responsibility for the inspection and any damages that may occur to the vehicle as a result, and have no right to claim against the center or company under any circumstances.
  • The inspection result reflects only the vehicle's condition at the time of inspection, and the center bears no responsibility for any changes to its condition after leaving the inspection site.
  • The company has the right to resell the inspection report without mentioning the vehicle owner's or buyer's name.
  • Some previously replaced parts cannot be verified for authenticity if they function normally, especially parts covered with plastic covers such as the engine and transmission, and are only mentioned in the report if visible or detected by equipment.
  • The inspection applicant or vehicle owner forfeits the right to object to the inspection result or compare it with other inspection centers or any other standard.
  • The center bears no responsibility for repairing the vehicle or for any faults resulting from the inspection, or future or hidden faults that did not appear at the time of inspection.
  • The center does not bear responsibility for the engine number or chassis number or any tampering with them, as this is the jurisdiction of the relevant government authorities.
  • The center is not responsible for mechanical faults, leaks, or accidents that did not appear at the time of inspection or were not noticed by the buyer or seller.
  • The center has the right to use the chassis number, engine number, and odometer for inspection purposes only without causing any harm to the buyer or seller.
  • The center does not bear responsibility for the information in the Arabization statement inside the vehicle related to its history inside or outside the Emirates; the source of this information bears full responsibility for it.
  • The center bears responsibility for the inspected points only, and is not responsible for any visible information or observations not included in the report.
  • The odometer is inspected based on equipment or previous inspection history if available, and in the absence of any indicator of malfunction.
  • The inspection is conducted according to the ambient temperature at the time of inspection, whether in the morning or during morning operation or in low temperatures.
  • In the road inspection, the vehicle is tested at a speed not exceeding 60 km/hour.
  • Only the parts mentioned in the inspection report are inspected.

Booking and Payment Terms

  • Payment of fees is made in advance when booking the appointment.
  • The customer must book an appointment one day before the inspection.
  • We are an inspection company only and are not a party to any agreement between the seller and the buyer.
  • The customer is notified by text message when the inspection team moves to the vehicle location.

Cancellation Policy

  • In case of appointment cancellation by the customer, half the value of the inspection service is deducted.
  • In case of inspection cancellation by the seller, the inspection service is replaced with an inspection for another vehicle chosen by the customer without refund.

Warranty and Review

  • The customer is considered to have agreed to all terms and conditions upon payment of fees and booking the appointment.
  • The warranty is limited to the time of inspection only.
  • The customer must review the report within the inspection validity period indicated when sent.

Acknowledgment and Acceptance

The customer acknowledges that they have reviewed, read and fully understood all the terms and conditions contained in this agreement, and that booking the appointment and paying the fees constitutes final and binding acceptance of all its contents without any objection. This agreement is considered an independent service contract legally binding on both parties.
